[Direct] Current status.

Here’s some imagery of where it is at now. Focus for the next few weeks will be on refurbishing the audio section, creating the MIDI breakout box, which includes tracing all the midi connections to the mainboard and further and mapping these out in the EDAC connector. And finally, we’re mapping out the IDC40 connector that connects to the memory card slot. The plan is to create a new little board that can connect on this, on which we can stick OS Eproms to download into the memory. Most of the connections have been found. It’s a old type of memory card that was from before the PCMCIA era. It has 60 pins (two rows of 30). The same physical format was used on certain Hammond memory cards as well as the EMU Proteus MPS. I’m hoping to find a service manual of either one of them that can give the last connection details that are missing. Meanwhile I keep on tinkering with EPROMS and assembly code as I’m starting to understand more and more of the Motorola workings.
